Ray and I have a friend who is really into honeybees.
When Dwight’s wife was in a nursing home with Alzheimer’s Disease, he created a beautiful garden in the nursing home courtyard. This was no ordinary flower garden, but an amazing place that was theraputic for him and a place of enjoyment for the residents.
After Josie died, Dwight retired from his engineering career, and revisited a childhood hobby of raising honeybees. With his keen, analytical mind, he devoted his time to study and scientific experimentation and soon was conversing with local experts. To his own surprise, he was soon sharing his knowledge with Ph.D’s at Ohio State University and Purdue University.
In only five years, Dwight has become a sought after speaker in the world of bees, not only in Ohio, but in the entire Midwest. A born networker, he has had newspaper articles written about him and was recently a featured guest on a television news program.
Yesterday at our weekly Sunday lunch, he was sharing about the invitations that he has received from regional leaders who are interested in preserving the fragile honeybee population. Some of these individuals have generous financial resources to invest in special projects and guess what they are interested in? Bees. And guess who they are calling? Dwight!
Dwight approaches all of this with a servant’s heart and a deep sense of gratitude for how God is using him. He has definitely become a broadcasting station for the bee world.
When we are passionate about something, our brain vibrates at a rate that begins to attract similar vibrations to it. There’s probably some scientific explanation for it, but all that matters is that it’s an incredibly efficient principle.
Just as bee people find Dwight because of his passion for bees, people who love network marketing can likewise find us. This phenomenon is not limited to those in our particular town or city. Miles do not matter to this amazing broadcasting system.
So let’s take this a step further.
When we as network marketers mastermind together, our combined brain power and vibrational energy are beyond measure. Our teamwork becomes a power source that is available to each of us as individuals. We are better because of each other! We all become broadcasters and receivers. We are each invaluable to this community.
